Bethany Welfare Centre Events MAMIT June 20, 2025 Several events were conducted by Bethany Welfare Centre, Mamit on June 19,2025. They are Advocacy meeting, Community events for clients, community Cleaning and Health Camp. Several NGO’s such as Village Council, YMA and Church Based organizations participated in these events. At 11. 00 am the staff of Bethany Welfare Centre went for community clean up at Chim Veng area and to the drug hot spots, collecting used syringes left behind by injecting drug users The Community events started at 1:00 pm with Health Camp. Dr. David along with Pricilla, the OST (Oral Substitution Treatment) Nurse attended to the clients and gave medical care and counseling, while the other staff members did blood testing and entertained the clients.
